Patiently waiting for correct sign on new overhead bridge

I’m patiently waiting for the day when our council has a new, correct sign over our new overhead bridge corrected and erected.

We require a correct sign: Dr Colin (Doc) Anderson and Reginald (Dick) Talbot.

Anderson comes before Talbot alphabetically (the last time I looked).

And Colin was Doctor Anderson’s given name.

This sign is totally ambiguous and could be any Doctor Anderson.

Reginald Talbot worked for my dad on ‘Bellaree’ for many, many years.

This sign in fact refers to Reginald’s son, Reginald ‘Dick’ Talbot.

So, as you can understand this sign is wrong in so many ways and very aggravating to those who care about civic matters.

Makes one wonder just how much research was in fact done before erecting and ordering these ‘mistakes’.
