Gunnedah’s second, third and fourth grade cricket teams will head to the Tamworth-based Riverside complex for one-day matches against City United this Saturday, after these three Gunnedah teams had a break last Saturday.
Gunnedah’s second graders had the bye while the third and fourth graders were unable to play their scheduled fixtures at Quirindi following overnight rain.
With two rounds remaining before the finals, Gunnedah’s seconds and thirds are out of finals contention while the fourths remain a mathematical chance.
Gunnedah’s fourth graders find themselves fifth out of eight teams, while City United sits in second place.
In their most recent outing, Gunnedah’s fourth graders upstaged the top-placed Old Boys by 19 runs on Gunnedah soil.
