The principal lawyer behind Stacey McAllan Legal has had her fair share of overcoming challenges – which may be why in the business of law she is thriving.

Stacey has never let adversity stop her from aiming high and meeting those goals. She was a teenage mum and went to university later in life. She worked and studied while raising four children, completing a Bachelor of Laws and purchasing Walker Beer Solicitors & Conveyancers in partnership with a colleague in 2010 and then become the sole owner of the firm in 2017.

She hopes her experiences encourage young people to take in stride what life brings, and not let it stop them from being ambitious.

The business has since been rebranded to Stacey McAllan Legal as a modern law firm that still appreciates its history in the local community.

Clients from around NSW and nationally have chosen Stacey McAllan Legal. The firm has grown from one office in Gunnedah to now a second office in Newcastle.

The firm uses new technology such as PEXA, Zoom, Teams, Webex and DocuSign which means it is easier than ever for clients to sign documents and keep in touch regardless of location or timing issues.

But that is not the only reason why people trust the firm with their legal needs.

With an all women team, Stacey McAllan Legal is committed to providing advice with understanding and empathy that is specific to each client.

In particular, the team offers advice on family and relationship law, estate planning and administration property and conveyancing, mediation and dispute resolution along with criminal law and water dealings.

Each staff member plays to their strengths making it a place with diverse skills that can assist by going beyond what education can teach through understanding and commitment.

Stacey McAllan has, in particular, a passion for family law dealings and family dispute resolution dealings and has a Masters in Family Law and Masters of Family Dispute Resolution through College of Law.

The staff understand rural issues and can assist in a myriad of dealings. The firm has qualified mediators and family dispute resolution practitioners who may help parties come to an agreement without necessarily taking the issue to court or involve litigation.
