The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Gunnedah Hospital to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, at 1:30pm on Friday, April 10.
A man aged in his 60s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Newcastle.
