Swimming Gunnedah hosted a highly successful Debutante of the Year Ball on 18 September, welcoming a full house of supportive family and friends.
The event celebrated 15 debutantes and their partners, alongside 17 official guests.
Tahnee Steele was announced as Debutante of the Year, with runner-up awarded to Josie Naismith.
Mason Nawer was awarded Partner of the Year.

Friday evening’s ball, again staged at the Gunnedah Town Hall, continues a proud tradition that began in 1978.
Foundation member Dan Killick came up with the idea after a Citizen watch was donated by Priests Jewellers to be used as a fundraiser.
After Priests Jewellers changed hands, Regency Jewellers has continued that tradition and again generously supplied a ladies’ watch for the winner.
Swimming Gunnedah expressed special appreciation to the business for the continued support, and to life members Geoff and Belinda Dawson for donating the runner-up prize.
Only a single year has been missed in the Deb of the Year Ball’s history, and that was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Swimming Gunnedah has extended its sincere thanks to all club members whose dedicated assistance made the night possible.
