Essential Energy will carry out maintenance on the main powerline supplying the towns of Carroll and Breeza, parts of Caroona and
south-eastern Gunnedah, and surrounding areas on Tuesday, 10 November 2026.
About 650 customers will be affected by a planned power outage between 8am and 4pm to allow crews to safely complete the work.
The work involves replacing four power poles and one crossarm on the high voltage overhead powerline supplying the area. Crews from Tamworth and Barraba will support the local Gunnedah depot to complete the work.
Affected customers have been directly notified of the date and times their power supply will be interrupted.
