Members of the Boggabri branch of the NSW United Hospital Auxiliary celebrated International Nurses Day this week.
Adele O’Connell and Noreen Boehm presented the Boggabri nurses with a gift to celebrate International Nurses Day and acknowledge their professional skills and the contributions they bring to the Boggabri Health Service.
Boggabri is fortunate is have 23 nurses who are the heart of the health care system and the association realises that ‘not all angels have wings, some have scrubs.’
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world on May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
