Spotlight: RUOK Day and Seniors Talk
RUOK Day was established in 2009 and encourages meaningful conversations. Sometimes, all you need is a cuppa and a caring question to save a life, so spark a dialogue with your friend, colleague, neighbour, or someone else important today.
Visit the library at 12pm on Monday, September 15 for our free monthly talk. We’ll have a representative from Whitehaven Coal discussing all things mining in the Gunnedah region and beyond. Free tea, coffee, and wonderful social chats are guaranteed, so come join us!
Spotlight: Gardening
Do you want to impress your neighbours with your gardening skills? Floor the gardening club members with your knowledge, perhaps? Our gardening section might have everything you’re looking for. Borrow books on floriography (that’s the hidden language of flowers), propagation, growing veggie patches, environmental sustainability, gardening for children, keeping houseplants alive (I still haven’t mastered this), and much, much more.
