Awards for 80 years’ combined service at Gunnedah SES

A large number of NSW SES members gathered at the Tamworth Town Hall at the weekend for the New England awards presentation. 

Three Gunnedah members, with a combined 80 years’ service, were presented with awards. 

Local members recognised included Peter Porter with 45 years’ active service at the Gunnedah SES unit.

Graeme Geyer with 25 years’ active service was recognised both as a staff member and volunteer with the Gunnedah unit and Rhonda Geyer (retired) for 10 years’ active service with the Namoi volunteer capability unit based at the Namoi Region Headquarters. 

The Gunnedah SES congratulated all volunteers for their dedicated service helping their community over the years.
