Gunnedah Garden Club welcomed a busload of visitors on Saturday 19 September – 45 members from the Tamworth Cottage Garden Club.

It was a full day, with lots of stops on their agenda, including two open gardens.

Tamworth Cottage Garden ladies enjoyed their visit to Gunnedah.

They started with morning tea and a browse around Julia Withers’ garden, then on to the Presbyterian Flower Show and Spring Fair, and they then visited Helen Murrell’s garden. Gardeners love to share their plants and the ladies happily went away with lots of cuttings in hand.

The club offered its thanks to Julia and Helen and the ladies who volunteered to help out on the day.

It was certainly a busy weekend in Gunnedah, with the monthly markets, the swap meet at the showground, the hill climb and She Sings that evening. It truly was a weekend with something for everyone.
