One point separates top two teams at trivia night

Fun, fundraising and a tight finish were the order of last Friday night as the Gunnedah Bulldogs AFL club held a trivia night at Gunnedah High School. With anything from three to eight people per team as 10 teams competed, Smart Assets took out top spot with 38 points while Blue Heelers finished on 37. These two teams were on 30 points with one round remaining while Overkoalified Experts were on 32, but the then top-placed team stumbled in the final round. Schools in Gunnnedah district host picture book drawing workshop

Melbourne picture book illustrator Marjory Gardner was at four schools in the Gunnedah district this week, and the game was on to have fun drawing. Children at Curlewis Public School, Gunnedah Public School, Carroll Public School and Mullaley Public School enjoyed seeing Marjory’s folio full of drafts and finished illustrations, and picture books. School holiday fun awaits at Gunnedah Shire Library

We’re visiting Curlewis Hall at 2pm on Monday, April 14 to make Easter cards. We’ll be making the same cards in Gunnedah on Tuesday, April 15 at 3.30pm, with an adorable bunny family on Wednesday and an Easter weaving basket on Thursday, April 17. Gunnedah High School news

Gunnedah High School Year 7 Science has been busy learning about high school science and working safely in the laboratory this term. Students have engaged in some basic practicals using the scientific method to complete investigations. A highlight of the term has been a visit from the UNE Discovery Voyager outreach and engagement program where students undertook activities in chemistry, forensics, ecology and scientific illustrations.
