Gunnedah Day VIEW Club attends Tamworth gala day

Emerald Hill CWA and Progress Association played host to 34 members of the Gunnedah Day VIEW Club, at the recent June meeting providing a delicious morning tea and lunch. It was a sunny day but with a lazy wind blowing the meeting adjourned inside the village hall, where three new members were welcomed bringing the club’s membership to 43. During the monthly meeting, voting was held around three resolutions for the upcoming national conference in Brisbane and a fine session resulted in a few surprises. Gunnedah Garden Club inspired by floral art

The Gunnedah Garden Club had an enjoyable day at the Railway Hotel last month. After the business of the meeting, Robyn Clydsdale delivered a power point presentation on floral art, with Julia Withers providing tips on how she designs and makes her award-winning artwork. Julia has won numerous prizes for her work over the years. Robyn showed the garden club some great examples of Julia’s past floral arrangements and members were all eager to give it a go.
