Gunnedah police greeted pre-school children at Li’l Achievers Learning Centre this week – complete with a tour of the police car.
The fun visit organised by Gunnedah Police aimed to show children some of the duties undertaken by local officers and their role in the community.
Senior Constable Sally Wenborn and Constable Chloe Smith also discussed ‘stranger danger’, what to do if children are lost or separated from mum and dad as well as a few fun activities.
“They really loved the fingerprinting,” Chloe said.
Brooke Patriquin from Li’l Achievers said it was a great opportunity for the children to meet their local police officers in a relaxed, informal setting.
