Gunnedah gymnasts competed in the Armidale City Gymnastics Club competition earlier this month and posted outstanding results.

For some of the Gunnedah girls, this was their first competition in the last 12 months, with regular events cancelled due to COVID-19.

Other gymnasts have only recently joined the competition program and were competing in their first competition.

All gymnasts were proud ambassadors of the sport and represented the local club well.

There were some outstanding results across all levels.

The team is now working towards the Country Capital Cup in Tamworth over the June long weekend and the NSW Country Championships in Armidale during the first week of the school holidays.
