Gunnedah High School last week hosted a ‘meet and greet’ barbecue for all Year 7 students and their families new to the school this year.
The event allows students, parents and caregivers to chat with staff in an informal setting.
School staff were commended on their wonderful job catering in the humid heat.
The first two days of high school were fun, team-building activities that offered the students a chance to settle in.
This was followed by school swimming carnival on Thursday and the first day for official lessons on Friday.
