Last Saturday, July 1, at Gunnedah Golf Club was a single stroke event for the monthly medal.
A field of 111 players took part and Shaun O’Dell had the day’s best result with the score of 64 nett.
Leigh Keating had an eagle 3 on the fifth hole while Farren Lamb also scored an eagle on the 14th hole.
A Grade winners: 1st Lee Butler 67, 2nd Farren Lamb 69, 3rd Neil Thomas 70 on a countback from Luke Ryan 70.
B Grade, 1st Shaun O,Dell 64, 2nd Guy Gallen 66, 3rd Pat Minehan 68.
C Grade, 1st Lucas Grosser 64, 2nd Jordan Ford 68, 3rd Steve Johnston 69 on c/b.
Nearest the pins on the 2nd hole were Dave Laurie, Tim Kennedy and Hudson Dries, on the 7th hole was Paul Brady, 12th Peter Birch, 16th Luke Sevil and 18th Ray Robinson.
In the ball competition, balls were won by all players with the score of 75 or better on a count back.
In the mid-week competition the four ball winners were Brett Reynolds and Dan Jones on 42 points. Second place went to Leigh Keating and Ray Robinson on 41 pts and third, Lindsay Johnston and Max Brown 39 pts.
Singles winners: 1st Dave Laurie 22 pts, 2nd Brett Reynolds 22pts on c/b from 3rd Kev Gallagher 22 pts.
