Showcasing innovation in the rural sector will be a major highlight of this year’s Aon AgQuip, when the 50th birthday event gets underway next week.

With hundreds of exhibitors showcasing more than 3000 products and services on offer across the three-day event, the 2023 Aon AgQuip will see the introduction of the Agri-Tech Pavilion (K-L/23-24) which will showcase the latest on farm technologies, set to revolutionise the nation’s agriculture industry.

AgQuip general manager Kate Nugent said many exhibitors are using this year’s Aon AgQuip to launch their new agtech products and services.

“There is a real thirst for technology and innovation within our rural sector, and producers are increasingly looking for new ways to improve on farm efficiencies,” Ms Nugent said.

“Every year we strive to find exhibitors who are at the cutting edge of agricultural innovation and I’m excited that in 2023 we have secured an increasing number of exhibitors who will be using the 50th Aon AgQuip to launch new agtech products and services.”

The Agri-Tech Pavilion will have a large focus on the reduction of environmental impacts on farm, with carbon sequestering programs on offer, as well as innovative technologies, like water from air dispensers.

There will also be a big emphasis on harnessing digital technologies in the rural sector, with drone-assisted cropping and spraying exhibitors, mobile applications to monitor quality and quantity of crops, and help manage inventory systems, as well as products and services to increase WiFi coverage and digital capabilities on farm.

“In addition to the Agri-Tech Pavilion we also have a large number of our traditional exhibitors, particularly manufacturers who are always looking for new and improved ways to make their equipment work harder and smarter,” said Ms Nugent.

“The 2023 Aon AgQuip will see the launch of new vehicles, including side by sides, utes and even electric vehicles, from some of Australia’s biggest brands.

“The industry’s leading machinery experts will also be exhibiting new and improved earthmovingequipment, including excavators, loaders, and attachments.”

AgQuip will run from August 22-24 at the Black Jack Road site, west of Gunnedah.

Additionally anyone who pre-purchases their AgQuip entry ticket will receive a 33 per cent discount, and will also go in the draw to win an AEG power tool prize pack valued at $5000.
