Young people had an assortment of career options to choose from at the Youth Expo last Thursday as exhibitors joined together for Youth Week.

Students walked through the Gunnedah Town Hall and Smithurst Theatre to interact with staff representing 40 exhibitors covering tertiary education, employers, and services.
About 150 students were involved from Carinya Christian School, GS Kidd Memorial School, Gunnedah High School, St Mary’s College and Coonabarabran High School during the expo.
Lucky for participants (both students and staff), a sausage sizzle from Rotarians kept energy levels going.
The Gunnedah Times had its own stall and encouraged people to participate in a ‘caption this’ contest, a news youth survey and to test out some of the editing software that is used to collate the paper.
