Rotary Club of Gunnedah West proudly hosted its charity golf day last Sunday, with 20 teams raising money for Rotary’s cause.
Many club volunteers were there to help the day run smoothly and keep the golfers fed with a barbecue lunch.
They were thanked for their time along with the dozens of sponsors that stepped up to make the charity day possible.
The club’s publicity officer Jodie Vince said the group “could not have asked for better weather conditions or for better company on the course”.
“There were some outstanding results, and we congratulate everyone for their participation, sportsmanship and for coming along to help us raise funds for disbursement to local charities as well as Australian Rotary Mental Health Research,” she said.
First place and winner of the Ian Carrington Memorial Trophy was Team Waugh, while second place went to Team Ava and third to Team Liam.
