Swimming Gunnedah raked in some impressive personal best (PB) times across country NSW and the coast last weekend.

Swimmers lined up in Maitland, Taree and Wellington as the long course season moved into full swing.

Led by head coach Colin Marley, a squad of seven swimmers competed at the Valley Aquatic Carnival in Maitland where 23 PBs were achieved along with a swag of medals.

Cameron Sills scooped the pool in the 10 years boys, snatching seven gold medals across the four 50m races and another three gold in the 100m freestyle and backstroke and the 200m Individual Medley (IM), where he improved by more than five seconds.

The NSW Country medallist collected five PB times and claimed a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke.

Younger brother Aiden blitzed his 100m breaststroke to snatch gold, before winning bronze in the 50m breaststroke.
