The annual Gunnedah Tennis Club Championships were full of pulsating action and close contests across all divisions at the Wolseley Park courts last weekend.
Singles, doubles and mixed doubles fixtures took place while divisions were Division 1, Division 2, 10 and Under, and 12 and Under, as any member of Gunnedah Tennis Club was eligible to compete.
Family combinations were in the mix while bragging rights were at stake among some families, particularly when a 9-year-old relegated his dad to the runner-up position in the Division 2 singles while the same duo won the doubles.
