The Gunnedah Jockey Club is gearing up for this year’s Boggabri Cup race meet, scheduled for Riverside Racecourse on Saturday, March 15.

An action-packed day of country racing will feature the Snow Carrigan Memorial and the Boggabri Cup, while there is also Fashions on the Field, live music, full bar and canteen services, and an on-site TAB and bookmakers.

Marquee and reserved seating options will be available.

Additionally, a Calcutta draw will take place from 6pm at the Commercial Hotel in Boggabri on Thursday, March 13.

Gunnedah Jockey Club president Mark Wilkinson expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s event, saying, “We are excited to welcome local owners and trainers to the 2025 Boggabri Cup.

“The track is in excellent condition thanks to recent upgrades, including the installation of a new running rail.

“The Boggabri Cup is always a special occasion, particularly as it features the Snow Carrigan Memorial, a race that holds great significance for the local racing community.

“We look forward to welcoming back members of the Carrigan family and the Boggabri community as we gather to honour Snow’s contributions to the sport of racing.”

Gates will open at 11am.

Entry is $15, while people under 18 years of age are admitted for free.
