She Sings celebrates women's voice at Gunnedah Town Hall performance

She Sings recently celebrated its 20th all-women’s singing event at the Gunnedah Town Hall. Led by former local Lucy Ravenwood (nee Amos), and co-presented by the Gunnedah Conservatorium, the event saw more than180 women between the age of 16 and 98 come together to sing and dance the night away.

For the first time, Lucy collaborated with local DJ Shinta Krisna, as well as featuring guest appearances by The Blenders ensemble and St Mary’s College student, Sophie Hunt.

The night raised $1263 for Can Assist Gunnedah.

Lucy is now based on the Sunshine Coast and established She Sings in 2022, with the events having welcomed more than 2000 women through the doors since its inception, and raising in excess of $20,000 in funds for local charities.
