Three drivers from Gunnedah Speedway Club gained a third placing in round one of the Tamworth Motorcycle Club speedway competition at Oakburn Park last Saturday night.
Thomas Hombsch achieved the last of the podium placings in the Fast 4s, and Tilly Cronin did likewise in the Junior New Stars while Clinton Hall had the same placing in the Junior All Stars.
Hombsch, Cronin and Hall were among 10 Gunnedah club members competing, as more than 30 cars came from around NSW.
The participants came from Gunnedah, Narrabri, Portland, Newcastle and Gilgandra for a night of entertaining racing while the track was slippery at times.
