Worms and wonders: Students dive into nature’s recycling magic

Gunnedah South Public school’s Year 1 and Year 2 students had a fantastic time exploring Nature’s Recycling.

The sessions were led by Tom Barnsley from EnviroCom Australia and facilitated through Gunnedah Shire Council’s Primary School Waste Education Program.

Students learned about harnessing the power of nature through composting and worm farming in an interactive and hands-on session, with live worms being the highlight!
