SPOTLIGHT: SCIENTISTS ARE SUPER!
National Science Week 2026 starts this Saturday, running from 15 to 23 August. The aim is to spark interest and engagement in the sciences, provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in science events and activities, and promote the contribution that Australian scientists have made to the world around us. Check out the National Science Week website scienceweek.net.au to find events, including online sessions and competitions.
The Seniors’ Engagement Talk for August will be held on 17 August at noon. The guest speakers will be Lisa, Courtney and Comfort from the Discount Drugstore who will be discussing a range of topics. Tea and coffee will be provided. Book your seat by calling (02) 6740 2190.
