A $10 million development is being proposed in the Gunnedah’s CBD. Plans for a lifestyle and retail precinct, named Eucalypt in honour of the koala capital title, will soon be submitted to Gunnedah Shire Council. The development is planned for 372, 374, 376 Conadilly Street and 151, 153, 155 Little Conadilly Street. The project proponent, Stripes Group, predicts the development will create about 40 temporary construction jobs and more than 100 jobs when completed.
