Spotlight: NEW BOOKS
Eden (AFA BRA), the brand-new book by Mark Brandi is available to borrow. Tom Blackburn is fresh out of jail and has left his old life and old name behind. When a chance encounter leads to a job and a place to stay, he is willing to do the hard, physical work required. Peace and quiet, save some money, make plans and stay out of trouble. But trouble finds him and going back to jail might be the safest option…
All strays are welcome at Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter (FSF FAW) by Heather Fawcett. Agnes Aubert is fond of making lists. They kept her afloat after the death of her husband and keep her cat rescue charity running. When she discovers her new shop is being used as a front by a decidedly disorganised, and handsome, dark magician, she must get rid of him. Perfect for fans of
Emily Wilde.
There’s been a murder in And The Corpse Wore Tartan (AFM MAC) by Stuart MacBride. The great and not-so-good are in a remote highland castle hotel for the wedding of the year. When the father-of-the-bride is found decoratively impaled on a stag’s head in the hotel lobby, it is up to a heavily hungover DS Steel to find out whodunnit. With no witnesses and every guest a suspect, she will need all her little grey cells to solve this one.
