Spotlight: READING CHALLENGE
Are you completing our reading challenge for 2026?
We are passing the halfway point, but there is still plenty of time to get reading!
It is easy to enter: just read one book for each month that fits any of the 12 criteria.
You can read them in any order you wish, and it is open to all reading levels and material types.
Perhaps an adult fiction book with a green cover, an audiobook set in Australia, or a picture book set at the beach.
Make it a family challenge and see who prevails: parents v children.
Download your form on the library webpage, Facebook, or pick one up in the library.
Drop your entry forms into the library before 5pm on Monday 14 December to go in the running to win a prize. Good luck!
Come to the library this afternoon at 3.30 for Comic Hub – Hirameki Blot Drawing with Chris. This cute little craft activity involves making pictures from blots, scribbles and splashes. It is free to join and open to all ages.
