Are you mad about motors? Here’s a chance to secure a stable career path.
Max Orman Toyota is offering fantastic apprenticeship opportunities at its Narrabri and Wee Waa dealerships.
“It’s always good for young people to have a trade certificate, and there’ll never be a shortage of work in this industry,” said dealership principal Justin Orman.
The respected family business is looking for enthusiastic employees to undertake mechanic apprenticeships.
So, if you’re a car enthusiast, mad about motors and keen to learn new skills to develop a secure career path – then this is the perfect position.
The new apprentices will have access to a wealth of knowledge, sharing a workshop with qualified mechanics and a well-oiled team who’ve been in the industry for decades and have a terrific track record.
“We’ve been in business for 56 years; there’d be plenty of support, guidance and Toyota training too,” said Mr Orman.
“Toyota is such a good brand; it sells itself.”
The four-year apprenticeship involves study and practical experience in Tamworth, and applicants must be over the age of 16.
Mr Orman said it’s been brilliant to witness apprentices grow into their roles over the years, and he’d highly recommend pursuing a trade.
“We’ve seen young people go from washing cars to fitting an engine – it’s great.”
In addition to apprentice mechanics, Max Orman Toyota is seeking experienced people for sales, spare parts and technician positions.
The Orman name is a trusted brand across the Narrabri Shire and the family is also actively involved in the community and would encourage people from inside and outside the region to apply for the positions.
“We’re a thriving region; there’s plenty of growth and plenty of opportunities here,” said Mr Orman.
“From farming to mining and the Inland Rail.
“It’s a great place to live.”
