Bad Intentions 8 fight night is back on this Saturday with both professional and amateur fighters to look out for.

The fight nights are becoming a tradition for Gunnedah and is now a highly anticipated night each year.

Gunnedah’s own, ‘Black n Blue Boxing’, has produced several professional competitors in the past and at least two, Enja Ryan and Albert Nolan, will take to the ring on Saturday.

The main fight will be for the Australian Welter Weight Title with Gunnedah local and current Australian Champion, Enja Ryan against Muay Thai champion, Zoe Putorak from Canberra.

It will be a big night with two professional and 23 amateur fights in total.

Enja and Albert are the stars of the show, however, ticketholders should also keep an eye out for the eight amateur fighters also on the card.

They have been working hard to show Gunnedah what they are made of.

The night is expected to be big with fighters travelling from across Australia including from Queensland, Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle.

The event will be held at the Gunnedah Town Hall with doors opening from 5:30pm with first fight starting at 6pm.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase with a barbecue and bar at the venue.

Tickets will be available at the door or presale purchases can be made at Bill Sypher’s Footwear, Saddlery and Repairs.

“It’s going to be a big night – it’s going to be a good night of entertainment,” Black n Blue boxing trainer David Syphers said.

Bad Intentions 8 has already been largely anticipated with many local businesses sponsoring the event.
