Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises (GWE) recently took a behind-the- scenes look at local radio station 2MO and Triple G.
The GWE team was given the opportunity to tour the station and learn about the interesting process behind broadcasting radio shows on the airwaves.
Participants witnessed how radio programs were produced and aired, offering a firsthand look at the dedication and hard work that goes into creating engaging content for the listeners.
GWE support worker Sam Sims said the exposure to this media platform was educational for the individuals involved at Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises.
“From the moment we arrived, the staff at 2MO warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at home,” GWE support worker Sam Sims said.
“The tour was informative and entertaining, providing us with insights into the inner workings of a radio station. Our participants thoroughly enjoyed the morning, and it was evident that they had a lot of fun throughout the experience.
“We believe such community engagements play a vital role in fostering inclusivity and understanding, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with 2MO.
“Once again, thank you for an enriching and enjoyable visit to 2MO. We hope to continue building such connections with the community and would be delighted to explore future opportunities for collaboration.”
