Re, the Black Jack Creek signage (Gunnedah Times, January 4, 2024), forget the indigenous art work and colour scheme, green and gold with some wheat sheefs will do! And surely Anderson comes before Talbot alphabetically – Dr (Doc) Colin Anderson should come first and this will save any angst within our community. Reginald Talbot was a lovely elderly citizen, “one of nature’s gentlemen”, so I certainly concur with council’s choice if the two named candidates on our sign, just not the colour scheme, nor the order.
