Gunnedah-based Alice Norton placed third out of 12 riders in one category at the Hygain Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships in Sydney from November 28 to 30.
Alice qualified in the Junior Rider 5 + U9 Years at the NSW Horse of the Year show in September, which enabled her to represent NSW at the national championships.
Alice rode Tremayne Royal Occasion – owned by Sophia Lennon and Arna Clift – as she was among riders from NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
The top-three placing concluded a great year of competing for Alice, following wins at Sydney and Toowoomba Royal and a qualification to the 2025 Grand National Horse and Rider Championships.
