On Monday, March 3, Gunnedah South Public School celebrated its School Induction Ceremony, presenting the 2025 student leaders with their badges. The event recognised members of the Year 6 School Leadership Team, Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Team, Student Representative Council (SRC), and Sports House Captains.

The ceremony featured an assembly address from relieving principal Meleah Walters, followed by the Year 6 leadership members proudly reciting their leadership pledge before receiving their badges from their nominated family members.

Adding to the occasion, the school singing ensemble delivered a beautiful performance of My Superhero, featuring solo performances by Cameron Yianakis, Annabelle Mitchell, Miley Cahill, and Kenzie Stonham. The school also celebrated its Gunnedah South Swimming Champions, who were awarded their well-deserved medallions and trophies.

Many parents and carers attended to celebrate this special occasion, showing their support for the students and the school community. Their presence made the event even more meaningful, highlighting the strong connection between families and the school.
