Spotlight: New books

Bill Clinton and James Patterson have penned The First Gentleman (AFT CLI).

The President of the United States is up for re-election. Her husband is on trial for murder. Is the First Gentleman a killer? A pair of brilliant investigative journalists set out to uncover the truth.

For rugby fans, we have The Official History of the Wallabies Jersey (796.333 FAF) by Michael Fahey and Mark Cashman.

This book explains what was worn, when and why, and contains photographs of almost 50 jerseys. Over 200 ‘Uncapped Wallabies’ are also listed for the first time, acknowledging all those who were selected to wear the green and gold.

New to thrillers is The Final Wife (AFT BLA) by Jenny Blackhurst.

Luke Whitney is stabbed to death. His wife Anna confesses after she is found next to his lifeless body. But if she did it, why can’t she confirm any of the details of the crime? More than one person had a reason to want him dead; but who made sure he got what he deserved?

Amy Neftzger said, “A library is the only single place you can go to learn something new, be comforted, terrified, thrilled, saddened, overjoyed, or excited all in one day. And for free.” Now that’s a great deal! Come visit us at 291 Conadilly Street.
