The owner of a much-loved all-terrain racing bike is offering a reward for information which leads to its return following its theft earlier this year.
Well-known Gunnedah resident Garry Turner had his prized Giant Revolt 2024 gravel bicycle stolen from the Presbyterian Church on Sunday 24 May.
The bike is specially designed for riding on mixed surfaces, particularly gravel as well as tarmac and dirt roads.
Mr Turner had secured the bike on a railing between the church and church hall.
Security camera footage shows the bike being stolen at 10.07am while a regular Sunday church service was underway.
The bike has a serial number of KAJ203817, is ash blue, size medium and also features blue handlebar tape and a white seat.

Mr Turner was shattered when leaving the Sunday service to find the bike had been stolen.
“I came out and was absolutely devastated,” he said.
“I had just raced on that bike on the Saturday in Kootingal.”
Mr Turner, the former owner of Gunnedah’s bicycle shop, said the bike held great sentimental value.
He showed the Gunnedah Times stills from nearby security camera footage which depicts a man casually walking up to the bike’s location and then later riding away.
