Spotlight: SENIORS TALK IN APRIL
Thank you to all our visitors over the school holidays. We had some fabulous and colourful garden creations. There is one last activity left: recycled bottle plant holders, which starts this afternoon at 3.30pm. The cost is $3.00. Call the library to guarantee your spot.
Our guest for April’s Seniors Talk will be Di Nicholson, who will speak about the health benefits of yoga and massage, and the practice of Bowen, Reiki and grief therapies. The talk will start at 12.00pm on Monday, April 20. These sessions are free to join. Tea and coffee is provided, just bring along a plate of food to share, if you wish.

Spotlight: NEW BOOKS
Two worlds collide in Sins of the Fathers (AFA BYR) by John Byrnes. Billy and Tommy Smith have grown up on the mean streets of Sydney’s Millers Point; a hard life made worse when their violent father returns from prison. Charles Davies lives a life of plenty in the wealthy eastern suburbs, wanting nothing– except for his father’s approval. When both fathers are killed, a hatred is born that will colour all three men’s lives and lead to revenge.
Kathy Lette’s latest novel The Sisterhood Rules (AFA LET) is available to read. Twin sisters Isabel and Verity’s relationship was shattered by a devastating and unforgivable betrayal. When their mother goes missing, they are forced to come together again to find her, but that might be just the start of their problems…
Billion Dollar Ransom (AFT PAT) by James Patterson & Duane Swierczynski is a crazy roller-coaster ride. Five innocent people are kidnapped at the same moment in time, in different locations. A billionaire wants his family back. The ransom is all prepared. But FBI agent Nicky Gordon has a plan. And she doesn’t want to pay the kidnappers. Not one dime.
Why was the math book sad? It had too many problems!
