Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole perform live at Club Gunnedah

Star struck country music fans in Gunnedah were treated to a sensational performance by Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole at Club Gunnedah last Friday night. The performance formed part of their ‘Great Country Songbook Volume 3’ regional tour. The world acclaimed country music artists spun tales of old and new about their music careers and personal lives for the Gunnedah crowd. It also included signature Harvey tracks such ‘The house that jack built’ and Cole’s ‘Broken Soldiers’. Make Music Day at Oak Tree Retirement Village

The Gunnedah Conservatorium partnered with Oak Tree Retirement Village to celebrate Make Music Day last Friday, June 21. Each year on June 21, musicians and music fans around the world celebrate music making, wherever they are with whatever music they play. Marg Amos, Dominic Goodwin-Hauck and Meg Clowes delighted the Oak Tree crowd with a long list of hits from the 50 and 60s. Gunnedah Family Fun Day | Photos

It was a celebration of community at Gunnedah’s Family Fun Day this month. Hosted by Gunida Gunyah Aboriginal Corporation through the Social Engagement and Community Employment Project, the event aimed to bring together community members. Indigenous elder Len Walters delivered a Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony and a special yarn. His story centred around a fishing trip to a water hole and closed with the message of unity “we all come from the same fish”.
