Emma Wunsch is a fresh face in the business administration world and is starting her career at GBP Cranes.
Originally from Tamworth, Emma (17) was educated at Calrossy Anglican School and McCarthy Catholic College.
She became a Gunnedah local about a year-and-a-half ago and is enjoying the opportunities the town presents.
Emma started at GBP Cranes in March last year as a business administrator and began her course in June 2022. The Certificate III in Business Administration is being taught at Gunnedah’s Community
College. It features 18 units and will take 12 months to complete.
This is the first course Emma has taken outside of secondary school and she recommends the course to anyone considering business administration as a career.
“It’s pretty straight forward and it has helped a lot … with me coming into this job knowing absolutely nothing … although everyone around is very helpful,” she said.
She also suggested people consider a Diploma in Business Administration, which is detailed and beneficial, after completing the Certificate III.
When asked why people should consider working locally Emma said there are plenty of opportunities even in a small town like Gunnedah.
